Well Women’s Group
‘Well Women’ is the ministry by and for women of all ages at Ivybridge Methodist Church (IMC). The name is inspired by the story of Jesus meeting the woman at the well (see John 4:1-42). This woman had collected a lot of baggage in her life and through her meeting with Jesus she found healing and wholeness and went on to lead others to discover what she had experienced.
As we meet together at ‘The Well’ my prayer is that we too will find refreshment, healing and friendship and grow in our faith, as well as bring others to share the experience. The ‘Well Women’ ministry includes a variety of activities through the year – social events, talks on various issues facing women today, Bible studies and discussions and occasional quiet mornings for retreat and restoration. All women are welcome to any of the activities planned.
